Our speaker this week is Robert Stein, Deputy Chief Economist at First Trust Advisors L.P., a financial services firm based in Wheaton, Illinois.  At First Trust, Mr. Stein is responsible for forecasting and analyzing economic indicators as well as writing economic commentaries.  This promises to be a great program for our members and guests.

Scottsdale Sunrise Rotary Club was represented by ten of our members at the Suns v. Pacers NBA game on Sunday.  Our club members had more fun than the Suns (another loss), and a great time at the Fez, an eclectic restaurant in downtown Phoenix.  Hopefully more club members next time.

Scott Sherman will host a Super Bowl party at his home on Sunday, February 4th. This will be a "pot-luck" event. Scott will open the batting cage before game time for those who want to take a swing.  Time for the party will be announced later.

Special Day for Special Kids is just a little over five weeks away (February 24th).  Please make sure your schedule is clear, and check with Bill Bergdoll to see how you may participate.

Evie Haberer has tickets for our Spring Training game on Sunday, March 4th at 1:00 PM. Our Arizona D'backs will take on the Chicago Cubs. Tickets are $34.00 each.
